Dental Admission Admit Card 2026 for BDS Course

Admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program in Bangladesh is conducted through a centralized national system. For the 2025–26 academic session, the BDS admission process has officially started under the supervision of the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME).

Like previous years, students will be admitted to all government and private dental colleges, along with dental units of medical colleges, through one competitive admission test. This system helps maintain fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for eligible candidates.

Dental Admission Test & Admit Card Schedule

The BDS Admission Test for the 2025–26 session will be held on:

Both Bangladeshi and foreign students may apply, but eligibility rules vary.

Academic Requirements

  • HSC / A-Level / Equivalent passed in 2024 or 2025
  • SSC / O-Level / Equivalent passed in 2022 or 2023
  • Minimum combined GPA:
  • General candidates: 9.00
  • Tribal candidates: 8.00
  • No GPA below 3.50 in any exam
  • Minimum GPA 4.0 in Biology at HSC/equivalent level

Bangladeshi applicants must sit for the BDS admission test.

Dental Admission Seat Plan

The admit card contains:

Candidates must appear only at the allotted centre. Centre changes are not allowed. A detailed seat plan may also be displayed at each exam centre on exam day.
